ZW3D QuickMill does an excellent job removing material left from a previous operation. This allows programmers to hog out cavity and core regions with rigid, large diameter tools then progressively rough with longer, smaller diameter tools to reduce overall roughing time.
Commands covered in this tutorial include:
1. Using Solid verify to check for collisions
2. Using Limiting to avoid Shank and Shoulder collisions
3. Sequential rest roughing using Progressive tools, short, mid and long series.
4. Duplicating operations.
