ZW3D CAD Tips ( Assemblies —— When merging components)
When a component is merged into the active part, a copy of its geometry is merged. The component itself is not deleted. It is just blanked in the Assembly Manager. If the component is changed, the next time you perform a Regenerate Part History, the parent part will re-merge the new component data.
