3D Sub-curves?

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to create sub-curves of 3d curves? I'm finding that I often want to make a sweep of part of an edge or curve, but I have no way of breaking this down simply.

Hi Eli

You can use the Split Edge and Split Curve commands respectively. Right Mouse Click for the "Along" option with which you can enter a distance along the curve or a % distance of the curves length to position the split.

You can break curves using the "Trim/Split curve at point" command (see help on Curve Boundary Editing). You can also split a surface edge with the "Split Edge" command (see help on Face Edge Editing).
