VX.com is now ZW3D.zwcad.org

VX.com now goes to the new ZW3D site which is http://zw3d.zwcad.org.

For now, vx.com will redirect to the new site and keep the vx.com URL. This is so that any bookmarks will still work. This will be changed in the near future, so please update any vx.com bookmarks to zw3d.zwcad.org (ie: vx.com/forum/ to zw3d.zwcad.org/forum).

The new site should seem really familiar but with ZW3D branding.

You can sign up here for a 30-day trial of ZW3D:
http://zw3d.zwcad.org/download_form.php?id=107

I like the new ZW3D logo and the ZW3D name but I prefer the old website home page. It had a bigger more open look to it. I especially miss the flying plane and the old colors.

Thanks for the update, Mike. Sometimes Ralph gets it all wrong. This is especially true as of late.

http://support.vx.com for customers

There are still some things to work through like support. If you go there now you can fill out a form and get a reply within 48 hours...I've been pushing for one week!!!

New licensing is what has me scared. how much is the actual concern.

The only thing I see missing from the new site(which looks good IMHO), is the customer login for support/downloads/release notes.

Actually, none of the product will have a new interface (to begin with). You will see a new install routine (Windows standard). New licensing. New splash screen if you don't blink. New title bar. New HELP.

Chris,

My impression when I read what Ralph wrote in Upfront.eZine was that he didn't get it right. My guess is only a small part of VX will actually use the ZWCAD user interface to begin with.

So upFront.eZine is wrong and ZW3D won't initially have an all new user interface?
