Well done Mirko.
Amazing what rendering can do.
If only that was all there was to having a finished product!
Keep up the effort.

Hi Colin & Z3 team, I think Mirko and a lot of others are looking for a more serious response to these issues! A bit of humour is good too.

What it does show is that Mirko has put a huge amount of effort in just getting this stuff online - (it is not the easiest process.)

His detailed model shows why it is so important for sheet to be fully sorted.
Mirko's customers can be very perceptive. 3 Versions of Z3 but only small improvements on sheet metal and still some old bugs unsolved. Do you think this is a good outcome?

Mirko is absolutely right about sheet part being everywhere.
With super accurate laser cutting, CNC punch pressing etc, it has become easier and easier to design light weight using sheet construction even for small run and one off jobs.

So we need great sheet tools to do this job well. Tools anyone can use with out a big learning curve.
We need to be able to design in solid and surface, then revert to sheet - e.g unfold and annotate for sheet any valid shape.

So in two places we need improvements.
Modeling and drawing.

Well done Mirko. :)

Hello Paul

The sheet comes from the small niche of the mold

You just have to look around in everyday objects to find always sheet

It is normal that people interests , a software with a cost that is competitive as zw3d, but then sees constant change interfaces without real improvements and orients immediately to another, this is what i have perceived by my customers.

Hi Orchid, there is a strong message here in this thread. I am not sure if you have noticed. I regard the Z3 Forum as a distant meteoroid in the CAD universe yet the numbers are significant.

This is the MOST VIEWED thread on the forum by a very large amount. Either Mirko keeps looking at it OR there are a lot of people out there who are very interest in Sheetmetal.

If I was Z3 marketing I would be putting a lot of heat into making Z3 Sheetmetal very powerful.

Just an observation. Cheers - Paul
