Hi there,
In AutoCad colour #255 is plotted, more or less, white.
In zwCad #255 it seems grey, even darker than #254.
Is there any trick to plot in white?

Hi Carlo,
Thank you for your feedback. You could try to plot the drawing using .ctb plot style. For example, if we are going to plot an entity in red with the color value is #1, we can operate as below.
1. Input the "plot" command in the command line to open the Plot Dialog box;
2. Choose a printer to plot the drawing;
3. Choose a .ctb style from the Plot Style Table on the top right of Dialog box(zwcad.ctb, for example), then click "modify";
4. A new dialog box, named Print Style Table Editor, will be showed. On this dialog box, choose the color of the entity from the Print Styles on the left of the dialog box. Since the color value of the entity we want to plot is #1, we choose color_1 in this example.
5. Then choose the color #255 from the color drop-down box on the right of the dialog box.
6. Click "ok" to exit the "Print Style Table Editor" dialog box.
7. Click "Preview" to preview the plot result. The entity will be plotted with wihte.

maybe I can't understend your suggestion, or maybe I could't explain my problem the right way: when I tell zwcad that an object is color #255 (wheter I'm using .ctb or not), zwcad plots it grey; #255 is not white in zwcad (it was in autocad, tough) but grey. I need white color: there's something I can do to make zwcad plot #255 as white?

Actually, If I set the color of a line as #255 and I plot the drawing using AutoCAD the line is printed in light grey; if I plot the same drawing using ZWCAD the line is printed in dark grey. Maybe I should change something in the plotter configuration?

Have you tried turning "ON" the GREYSCALE option in the Prinstyle editor.

ZWCAD has improvment about this problem, now the Color 255 is not dark, it is as grey as Color 254. And we will try to slove this problem thoroughly.
And before it is solved, I hope following temporary solution can help you.
Please use the CTB plot style, set the object with Color 255 to be printed as Color 255.

For color 255, it is grey when plot preview. Color 255 (pure white) preview as grey so that it is visible. This is reasonable, it works the same way as AutoCAD.
But when print the color 255 on the paper, it is grey too, that is a problem, we will try to solve it.

Dear all, about this issue, we have considered it seriously, we make color #255 to be printed as grey, because if it is printed as white, it disappears on the white paper. It is different from AutoCAD but we think it makes more sense.
