by importing an assembly form a step file . all the parts are located on sero point-the assembly is dead !!
With the same step file i had no problems with 2011 version

Could you ensure your ZW3D2012 is the latest Open beta version? And it would be better if you can sent me the step file to take a look.

As for STP files importing, my ZW3D 2011 sp2 crashes down all the times after reading and visualization of geometry model under Win7Pro_x64. It occurs for many exported files from Creo/SW/Catia, STP and IGS too. Under WinXPpro_x32 works perfectly, never had problems. So i guess this program is not fully compatible under 64 bit based system, at least from my user experience

Anyway i like ZW3D, keep up the good work ;)

Good news: this problems doesn't happen with 2012 beta version on the same Win7Pro_x64 system.
