In order to provide the better communication space for all the registers and visitors to share the knowledge and experience, the ZW3D CAD/CAM support has been extracted, I wish that all of the ZW3D users could get more insights about ZW3D CAD/CAM in this support forum

Hi Colin,
I am bit confused -
you cay CAD/CAM has been extracted? from what?
Do you mean CAD is separate from CAM? Not what I am seeing in the forum.

Or that CAM and CAD are now in one place?

My opinion is that having CAD forum and CAM forum as separate items is a logical and helpful distinction.

So which is it?
Cheers

Paul,

I believe what Colin means is this forum (the one you are now reading)is only for ZW3D discussion(both CAD and CAM).

If you go here:

http://www.zwsoft.com/forum/

At the bottom you will see a new forum for "Other CADCAM Technology Discussion." Most of Ault's and Markoski's crap has been deleted as well as my response to it which is fine with me.

Yes and Jon has been removed as a cad expert which is a bit of truth. Which is fine by me. Forum is broken Paul and nothing is ordered or can be sorted much less categorised. I don't get it either as it renders it nearly useless.

Hi, mudcrab

There is a Tag could shows CAD or CAM information of the post. As ZW3D is a all-in-one CAD/CAM, sometime it is difficult to put the corresponding post to the CAD or CAM, that is the purpose of TAG.

Yes, what I just separating the ZW3D CAD/CAM, the purpose is that we focus on the knowledge share on ZW3D instead of so much confusing information in the past, just as Jon said.

Ho Colin,
we need more tags.
COMPANY, SKETCHER, SHEETMETAL, SURFACE, SOLIDS, ASSEMBLY etc.

AND we DESPERATELY need the Sort Options to actually work. NONE of them work correctly - if they did, then a lot of the complaints would stop.

AND the RSS seems to work for spam but little else!

Cheers

I think I have figured out why the RSS is useless...?
It is ONLY feeding NEW TOPICS, and NOT feeding posts. This is why we get mostly spam but never see posts.

So guys, need to fix that up NOW.

With out this working you will see the forum DIE.:time:

Hi Colin,
RSS seems to be working better now.
Can it be made to add a forum ID tag to the RSS heading so we can see which forum it is from.

Cheers
Paul
