Is there a way to sweep a solid along a path? Iam working on creating 3d details for mechanical systems on a commercial building without the use of any third party sortware. Currently I am trying tofigure out how to create representative flex ducts. I think it would be properto have lofted circles at two diferent radius along a 3 dimensional spline. I have tried sweping both circles at the same time, sweeping alofted solid, even manually creating a loft pattern by coping the circles to nearest along the spline. none of which seems to give a positive result. Hasanyone ran into anything similar?

This soundslike overkill on detail.
Most users would simply use a
sweep of the major OD and then apply a cosmetictexture that appears ribbed from any reasonably viewed distance.
