Hi, All

After ZW3D 2013 Beta was available, we are getting more and more feedback from the forum, Email, facebook , Linkedin, etc. We appreciate a lot, no matter it is the small adjustment of the interface or big enhancement request for the CAM module. In order to update the enhancement and implement them to the beta version, we will pack and release updated package according to the feedback, which is targeting to assure that the official release involve more nice ideas from your valued feedback. I will also update the implementation list in this post.

Update notice of ZW3D 2013 Beta3 (VerNum:02/01/2013)


Hi, All

According to your valuable feedback, thebeta3 has been packed and available from following link (The same link as theprevious package):

The key enhancement is the compatibilitywith lower entry graphics, stability, and adjustment of UI. The detailed of theupdate has been listed as follows:


1)Enhanced the compatibility withlower entry level graphic card, including Intel Graphics and ATI Graphics

2)Fixed the wrong STL shaded mode

3)Fixed the missing patterns in2D sheet

4)Fixed the missing layerinformation in 2D sheet

5)Fixed the wrong preview of toolmanager

6)Fixed the wrong section view ofATI graphics

7)Fixed the crash issue whenusing Loft and switching file tab

8)Fixed the crash by usingShow-n-tell feature

9)Fixed the wrong preview of 2Dsheet manager

10)Fixed the background imageshowing black

11)Fixed the missing lines duringPDF export

12)Fixed the wrong preview ofDirecting Move

13)Fixed the analyze mode issuewas not available in Sub-part environment

14)Fixed the highlight issue ofQuick Pick

15)Fixed the crash problem when usingStandard template

16)Enhanced the UI, includingsmall change of icons and positions

17)Fixed the simply crash issue inspecified file

18)Fixed the problem that solidverify crashed in complicated operations


Note:

1)The mold application is still not integrated, which will be available for your preview at the end of February.

2)It is highly recommended to use the new beta package during your test, and please uninstall the previous beta before you install this package to avoid any unexpected errors.


By the way, we are taking the Chinese NewYear holiday between Feb 9 to Feb 15, and we will reply to you ASAP once we getback to the office.

Hi, Stefano
Right now, I'm using Windows 8 64 bit, the answer is Yes, you can use it in your Windows 8, currently it is pure 32bit application working in 64 bit system. We are also working for the pure 64 bit application, the beta will be probably available in June or earlier, I will post relevant information here once it is ready.
