 How do I derive a part in 2013??

I cant find the answer in the help browser.

Used to VX series
I see rederive but that isnt it?

An the moment I am copying to clipboard, then pasting, then renaming.

From the Attributes pull down menu at the top click on Attributes/Part and the Part Attribute box will come up. Click on the Derive new part button.

Depending on your interface setup you may be able to accomplish the same by clicking on the Tools tab and the Part Attributes icon.

Ok I can derive now, as you say, previously this was done from the Root Manager Window, by ticking attributes at the bottom.

Hi Mark,
if you filter Attributes in Root manager and select the part, Derive option is still there.
