If you have imported model data that is untidy, or complex native data that may be has fillets whose size is less than the offset required, it is not always possible to use the Shell command. So, you use the face/surface offset command instead but even that might fail if you pick faces that cannot be offset by the amount specified (often this is simply because they would dissappear e.g. A 5mm fillet offset inwards by 6mm equals a -1mm fillet ). This macro automates the offset face command and does the offset one face at a time for maximum results. Of course, it's a good idea to get all the faces pointing in the correct direction first
