Here is a macro that was built to help speed-up the mold making process.
It does some of the initial tasks required to make a mold insert.
From a part file (example, and IGES import)
the macro will:
Create new "mold" object, insert iges part as component, merge, create stock, shilouette parting lines, create sketch for parting faces.
What other steps would you like to see automated?

What a beautiful macro! "It does exactly what it says on the tin" (quote from a British tv ad). It is this type of automation that makes a real difference to the User - what a great Sales Tool as well.
