Heard from our friends in Germany...

VX bested Delcam, WorkNC and Tebis in a head-to-head CAM benchmark.

We created smoother tool path with better lead in/out control than all the competition. We also computed faster.

I love it when we win!

Are there any manuals that tell someone how to use this CAM software as well you say it works? Do I have to go thru CAM AE training to be able to use this software? Did the head to head test have anything to do with ease of use?

There are three areas that you could visit to get help with CAM

1. CAM Fundamentals
2. QuickMilling Manual (new with Version 9)
3. The VX CAM forum

All of these areas offer lots of good milling examples and even include sample parts with templates.

Certainly, training is always an option but I'm not sure that's the real answer.

VX is investing a lot of effort to improve CAM ease-of-use. In fact, it's one of our highest priorities and we meet almost daily to discuss better GUI and functionality options.
