autocad Zoom(Z) command
1. Command format
Command: Zoom(Z)
Ribbon: [View]→[Zoom(Z)]
Toolbar:[Standard]→[Zoom(Z)]

During the process of drawing, in order to conveniently capture the object and partly show the details, it needs to use zoom command to enlarge or shrink current view or enlarge certain parts. After finishing the drawing, reuse zoom command to zoom out the graphics to observe the ensemble effect. Using zoom command does not change the absolute size of object in the drawing. It changes only the magnification of the view.

2. Steps
use three ways of zoom to observe the different effects of graph paper.

The introductions of zoom command options:
In(I): Zooms to double the size of the graphics and when executing zooming in., the position of enlarged graphics denpends on the center of current graphics.
Out(O): Zooms to halved the the size of the graphics and when executing zooming out, the position of shrinked graphics denpends on the center of current graphics.
All(A): Zooms to display all visible objects and visual aids. The model fills the window using the greater extents calculated by all visible objects, or the extents of all visible objects and some visual aids.
Center(C): Zooms to redisplay a view defined by a center point and a magnification value .
Extents(E):Zooms to display the maximum extents of all objects. The extents of each object in the model are calculated and used to determine how the model should fill the window and the effect of display is irrelevant to the graphic boundary.
Left(L): Zooms the drawing in the left lower side of the view
Previous(P): Zooms to display the previous view and the command has an individual button in the standard toolbar.
Right(R): Zooms the drawing in the right upper side of the view.
Window(W): Zooms by specifying woo opposite points of a rectangular window to zoom in the chosen area..
Dynamic(D): Pans and zooms can be handled in one operation.
Scale( nX/nXP): Zooms to enlarge or shrink the current view without changing the center point. There are three ways to enter values of graphic screen. Firstly, relative to the current view.Zooms to change the magnification of a view using a scale factor. Enter a value followed by x to specify the scale relative to the current view. Secondly, zooming relative to paper space units. Enter a value followed by xp to specify the scale relative to paper space units. Thirdly, absolute zooming. Enter a value directly, and use this value as the zooming factor and excute zooming compared to the actual size of the objects.
