This article will focus on how to use the intuitive commands for the modeling of complex surface parts, as well as how to use the surface function to achieve general product design.


Here I would like to show you how to use the common command for rapid toymodeling.Below can be seen the effect of the finished product.

Follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1, Draw an outline of the toy in 2D sketch.

Step2, Extrude the main outline as auxiliary surface, and then use Dome feature to create the main body base to tangent with the extruded surface.

PS. Build an auxiliary surfaceto ensure the surface is symmetrical, that it is usual. It would help to ensure a continuous relationshipbetween the two edges of theoriginal surface and the mirrored surface.
Step3, Project the characteristic curve to the main face along the Y axis. Trim the [url=app:ds:empennage]empennage[/url]and belly.

Step4, Use the Domecommand to reconstruct the surface.

Step6,subtract the solid features (such as the eyes and the embossing)from the regular feature.
