My HP 750C+ printer has died.
With VX, it would only work if connected directly. not over a network and worked using HPGL2 for line drawings and could do 1:1 perfectly. No scaling issues
Can anyone reccomend a printer of this size that will work with VX and hopefilly hpgl2 asvx doesnt seem to have full functionality using emf etc.

I use a Deisgnjet 500/42 for the past 5 years. It did need a new motherboard at a cost of $350 a couple of years ago, but I think it was killed by a brownout.
You can buy 'em refurbed pretty cheap as well.
