since I downloaded vernum 2007.09.19 and I installed it every time I press esc or enter I hear a sound coming out of my computer.
Since Enter and Esc are used very often it's a concert going on all day long. Is that normal?

On AutoCad there was an option "Beep with errors", but for Zwcad i don't remember where is that...
But sometimes I like this Beep...

Just as donkeykid said, ZwCAD have no variable to set 'Beep on error'. I think you can try to reinstall your audio driver, it should be OK. If it still appears, please let us know.

I confirm this. Sounds ugly with pressed Enter and Esc. And this is NOT hardware or driver problem.

Hi,
I have the same problem - it is no "beep on error", but it is something that happens EVERYTIME you hit "enter" (after each command that you type on the keyboard) and EVERYTIME that you hit "esc".
I use zwcad version 2007.09.19
curiously enough that so few people are complaining about that... a patch should come soon for this very bothering malfunction.
