Very very best the old (but perfect) Text Editor. The new one is always not better of the old one. With the new editor it is necessary to keep on zooming, with the old editor no, also with very small texts. You leave to the consumers the possibility to choose the editor to use. I would want to also know the opinions of other consumers. Thanks.

With the MTEXTED, value change from "" to "oldversion", is the same. The "In Place Text Editor" not change!!! Try you whit a single line text and command DDEDIT, a text too small (zoom very out) is almost invisible during the text editing!!
p.s.: In autocad, when the text is too far, she is automatically magnified (always on blue background) for being easily edited.yeti692009-12-05 01:08:17

Sorry for replying to you so late.
First, according to the feedback from our uesers, most of them think that the In-place Text Editor is useful and powerful and give a high prize on it. As you may get used to the old one, you can input "mtexted" in the command line, then input "old" and press Enter. At this time,if you use the Text Editor again, you will find that it has been changed into the old version. If you want to switch to the new version again, please use the "mtexted" command and input "." in the dynamic prompt command line.
Second, as to the single line text, when you use the DDEDIT command to edit the text, that is the In-place Edit and can not be changed into the old version. The size of editor frame depend on the size of the text. It is very convenient.
