Just type "Highlight" in the Command. Setvar is ON/OFF.

Hi, actually ZWCAD is not having a command or option setting to turn the highlighting off. If you do need to turn it off "visually", you can try to set PICKBOX var to 0.

to Finnbear:
Thanks for your answer, but "Highlight" command is not for the new highlighting feature, it is about when you select something, that object will be highlight or not.

Daniel:

Thank you for your answer, but isn't this a bit tricky? Namely, turning off the Pickbox isn't something you should be doing (ever). Will there be a solution to this problem in the near future?

Hi Daniel,

Oops! sorry, when I saw the post I did a quick SETVAR check and I assumed that "Highlight" was for that function. You know what happens when you assume. It was 2 minutes before going home for the day so I didn't have a chance to check the function. Next time I will check to see what the SETVAR controls before I post an answer.

I've send a email to tech@zwcad.com and I've got the following answer:
Dear Laurens,

This is Anna from ZWCAD Technical Support Team.Nice to meet you!

About your question,it has been solved in 2011 SP2 version. You can use SELECTIONPREVIEW Command to turn it on/off.

Have a nice day!

These are the values:
Controls the display effects of selection previewing.
Objects are highlighted when the pickbox cursor rolls over them. This bit code will set to the sum of the following values.
Value
Setting
0 Off
1 On when no commands are active
3 On when a command prompts for object selection
