 Activation Failure
01-03-2012 11:38 . pm   |   View his/her posts only
Received Activation Failure message (maximum number exceeded...) upon launching ZWCad 2012.
I do not share license with other machines.
I performed Windows System Restore and now all is well.
Windows 7 32 bit.
Anyone else have problems with Windows Updates?
Can tech. people offer workaround should this occur again?

Regards

due to my understanding, could I reckon that you did not return the license before erasing your original software enviroment?

to reinstall ZWCAD, you may need to return your license in advance by launching License Manager. you need to contact your local dealer for a activation reset if you've already lost your license.

As stated I do not share license with other machines.
It happened after Windows update. System restore fixed the issue.
Curious thing is I subsequently ran update without any further issues.
(I got quite concerned, as I was working out of town, and without a functioning CAD program I would have been SOL!)

Cheers

let me sort the things happend to you by time:
1.you did not share license with others and ZWCAD works well then;
2.ZWCAD failed to launch with ACTVN failure message after windows update;
3.You did a windows restore and ZWCAD's back on duty;
4.you did a windows update once more;
5.ZWCAD's there running normally without errors.

could you please show us what windows updated did then to your system? which items were selected for that update?
