Much of what would be done manually in earlier releases can be done by the software, silently in the background - thus that element of User input becomes redundant. At Root Object Level, go to Tools - there you will find "Fix Objects".

Hi George

So, when you use Fix Objects at Root level the problem is not fixed? What happens if you shutdown VX, re-launch and re-open the file - still the same problem? If so, we need to see it asap. Also, we need to know what version was used to first create the file.

Yes, I still have the same problem when I shut it down. The file has been giving me problems for awhile. I started it in 9.61.

OK George, can you get the file uploaded onto the VX FTP page, so that we can take a look at it? Are you able to continue your work by deleting that object? (Not just deleting the toolpath). If you are able to continue your work, we would still like to see the file so that the Developers can bug fix. If you cannot continue your work, may be we can repair the file.

All VX CAM Users, v9 or 10 :-

If you get hit by an object problem as described in this thread, please save your file AS IS without doing anything further. Send that file to us. This gives our team the best possible chance to find out why the database corrupted. If you use the clean-up commands, it may rescue the file for you - but we will not have received any feedback to help us make the product better for everyone.
