1. The command format.
The command line: Chamfer (CHA)
Toolbar: [change] > [chamfering]
Create the chamfering in the cross line of two lines, radial lines or a infinite long line.
2. The operation steps.
Use the Chamfer command to chamfer the front of the bolt, which is as shown in figure 4-22 (a). The result is shown in figure 4-22 (b).

Command: Chamfer Execute the Chamfer command
Select the arc, straight line, open poly-line, elliptic arc, chamfering to be linked.(Distance 1-10, Distance2-10):
Set(S)/Poly-line(P)/Distance(D)/Angle(A)/Trim(T)/Method(U)/Various(V)/:D
Input D . Specify the angle of chamfering
Specify the chamfer distance of the first object<10>:1
The chamfer distance set
Specify the chamfer distance of the second object<1>
Enter to accept the default distance
Chamfering(Distance1-1, Distance2-1) :
