Dear All,

In ZW3D 2017, we make lots of improvements in Sheet Metal module including new features,workflow improvement, and enhancement. Below is the detail information.


1. Upgraded “Full Flange” and “Partial Flange”

“Full Flange” has strengthened many aspects for you to better control its profile and easier tofinish your work in a good efficiency.

4. New “Hem”

In ZW3D 2017, User can use this function to create Hem feature, and it support all kinds of Hem feature. Also user can create miter and relief.

5.New “Jog”

In ZW3D 2017, user can use "Jog” to create a step with 2 bends on a tab from alinear line.

6.New “Extend Flange”

FlangeExtend” is to stretch an existing tab or flange from its picked edges. It wouldbe helpful if users don’t want to redefine the flange or an Extrusion tabfeature to change the size for replay efficiency.

7. New “Bend Taper”

“Bend Taper” can miter the flange to change its profile and avoid the interference with other flanges, or make some gap, especially on the imported sheet metal which has no flange features.

8. New “Normal Cut”

Normal Cut”is to cut material by projecting a profile onto the sheet metal and then cutting normal to the sheet metal faces intersected by the projection, as if the part were completely flat, even if it is unfolded.

I'm trying to evaluate the sheet metal module but I don't see a tool tab for this. How can I activate?
