Located in the center of Vietnam, Da Nang is the second largest port city ranking after the Ho Chi Minh City with prosperous shipping industry. Since the APEC was held in Da Nang last year, it has become one of the global focuses, and was also chosen as the host city for ZWCAD Asia Forum
this year, which is the first stop of the ZWCAD Regional Forums
. Let’s get closer to this city together with Owen
, the ZWCAD Regional Manager mainly responsible for the Vietnam, Philippine and Germany markets.
It is energetic, busy and bustling.
It has been very teeming since the 17th
century. People here are busy with the production of caustic soda, textile, rubber, cement and paper, and countless warships of more than 10,000 tons as well as merchant ships park here thanks to its wide port and deep water. Besides, there are many traditional local activities such as the celebration of Kwan-yin, a Buddhism goddess, and the boat race to memorize its liberation.
Meanwhile, it is quiet, leisurely and slow-paced.
Appraised by the National Geographic Magazine as one of the 50 Must-go Cities in the world, it is considered to be the representative of beauty in Vietnam. Except for the monuments such as the Cham Museum and the Hoi An Ancient Town, which make you sink into the retrospect of the ancient times, the Da Nang Beach is also well-known for being one of the six most beautiful beaches in the world. With the lowest population density in Southeast Asia and the 30km coastline, it enables you to totally relax yourselves by stepping onto the velvet-like sands which rival the ones in Hawaii, breathing the salty but fresh air, and watching the sea melting into the sky. Such tranquility is long-lost in the city life.

2018 ZWCAD Asia Forum--Da Nang[/caption]
As a proverb goes, Da Nang is “quiet like an elegant lady and brisk like a rabbit”. I like this city, for its bustle, for its leisure, and already start to look forward to the trip for ZWCAD Asia Forum.
