For better employee growth and better service for customers, ZWSOFT regularly organizes diversified employee training based on differed functions and positions. From July 29th-30th, 2019, young engineers in ZWSOFT attended a two-day training for CNC machining.
The training was held in Guangzhou Light Industry Vocational School and the course consisted of machining process explanation, 2-3 axis toolpath programming, and product machining.
At first, teacher Yang was invited to introduce the basic operation of CNC machine like tool inserting, tool changing, tool setting, instrument panel control, etc.

After that, young engineers implemented CAM machining including electrode machining, VolumillTM roughing, 2 axis milling, and 3 axis milling. Starting from tool path programming, they learned to check the validity of the toolpath and processed the workpiece step by step to ensure the machining quality.

At the end, our engineers finished the product machining with good results. Gofy Pan, ZWSOFT Application Engineer said: “I recognized that the actual conditions of processing are different based on different materials, and I witnessed the improved roughing efficiency by using VoluMillTM strategy.”

As Sam Liu, ZWSOFT Technical Manager said, “If our engineers want to offer better technical support, they cannot just stay in the office. They need to machine products by themselves.” Through the onsite training, our engineers enriched their first-hand experience in CAM, helping them find the best answer to complex technical issues when serving our clients.
