VNAS, a Vietnam solution provider of production line automation in the automotive industry, chooses ZW3D and ZWCAD for their full features, high-quality service and compelling prices.
“The investment cost of ZW3D and ZWCAD products is reasonable given the efficiency improvement it brought,” said, Nguyen Son Tung, Co-founder of VNAS.
Today, the line builder model, or solution provider model, is common in the field of automated production in many industrialized countries. In Vietnam, however, it is rare due to the high investment in costs and human resources. Founded in Hanoi, Vietnam, VNAS is a pioneer in providing automation solutions and has become an expert in automated production for automobile and motorcycle industries.

Nguyen Son Tung, Co-founder of VNAS, explained how they use 2D and 3D CAD software. He said, “First, our application engineers use CAD software to build a 3D line solution. After that, they analyze standard and non-standard machines, welding and assembly fixtures. The non-standard machines will be transferred to the mechanical engineers for design and fabrication using 2D and 3D CAD software. The same to welding and assembly fixtures.”

Nguyen Hoang Tang, Mechanical Engineer of VNAS, said, “Our work requires design software that can handle large layout drawings and fixture designs for robots.” VNAS knew of ZW3D and ZWCAD solutions through ZWSOFT Vietnam team and found out that these solutions were what they were looking for and switched to them smoothly.
All Needs, One Software
ZW3D is an integrated 3D CAD/CAM solution powered by a 3D geometric modeling kernel developed by ZWSOFT. It covers the entire circle of product development from concept to production by integrating solid and surface modeling, assembly, sheet metal, mold design, 2D drawing, 2-5 axis machining, simulation and more.
Nguyen Hoang Tang commented, “ZW3D provides full features that make it easy and flexible to design and assemble. For example, we assembled a rotary table into a machine precisely and flexibly by dragging and dropping it into the desired position.”
When talking about their favourite features, VNAS team had a lot to share. Nguyen Hoang Tang said, “The feature I like most about this software is managing multiple data in one file.” Nguyen Son Tung added, “ZW3D's sheet metal design and assembly modules are the ones preferred and used a lot by our engineers because they are very powerful and easy to use.”

Apart from ZW3D, ZWCAD is also ZWSOFT’s flagship product serving more than hundreds of thousands of users in over 90 countries and the numbers continue to climb.
Do Van Luc, Stamping Dies Engineer of VNAS, said, “ZWCAD is compatible with 2D CAD formats such as DWG, DXF, making it easy for us to exchange and reuse drawings. ZWCAD has a full range of professional CAD tools such as Tool Palettes, 2D drawing and editing commands, dimensioning, creating material lists, creating special sections with Super Hatch, and printing multiple drawings at the same time. Therefore, ZWCAD covers all our design needs, and ensures a seamless design process.”

Get More, Pay Less
The co-founder mentioned that timely technical support in Vietnam was one of their major criteria for choosing CAD software and ZWSOFT is doing this very well. After their purchase, ZWSOFT Vietnam team provided training for VNAS engineers and set up a chatting group to provide timely support whenever they need it.
ZWSOFT offers powerful 2D and 3D CAD solutions and high-quality service at compelling prices. Nguyen Son Tung said, “The investment cost of ZW3D and ZWCAD products is reasonable given the efficiency improvement it brought.”
Thanks to the convenience brought by ZWCAD and 3D solutions, the project design and implementation time of VNAS has been reduced significantly by 30%. In the future, ZWSOFT will continue to help VNAS take the lead in the field of production line automation.
