Before reading this article, it was assumed that saving as a different format would allow you to easily export DWG files as JPG or PNG, but it turns out that’s not the case. In this guide, we'll walk through how to properly export your DWG files to both JPG and PNG formats.
1. Open ZWCAD and import your dwg file and input command "JPGOUT", then [Create JPG File] dialog box will show up. Next, set the saving path, rename the new jpg file and click "Save" to confirm your settings.

2. Select the objects to be saved in the new jpg file when the "Select objects" prompt appears. Press Enter when the prompt appears again. In your customized saving path, you can easily find your new converted jpg file.

Type "PLOT" in the command line, select "ZWPLOT-JPG.pc5" from Name list and click OK to set the saving path in your computer. Then, the DWG file has been successfully exported to JPG file in your computer.

Steps are almost same as the method 1 in "How to Export DWG to JPG"except for the different command "PNGOUT". Open the DWG file, enter the "PNGOUT" command, set the save path and file name in the pop-up dialog and click "Save", then select the objects to save and press Enter to complete the conversion to a PNG file.

The way how to export DWG to PNG is almost same as the method 2 in "How to Export DWG to JPG". There is only one small difference in the first step: type "PLOT" in the command line and choose the "ZWPLOT-PNG.pc5" from the name list, then click OK to set the saving path in your computer. Finally, the DWG file has been successfully exported to PNG file in your computer.

1. Input the command PLOT, choose the "Virtual JPEG Plotter" from the name list and click "Properties". In the [Plotter Configuration Editor], Add the Custom Paper Sizes or choose the default size from [Paper] list.

2. If you need a custom paper size, edit the Width and Height in the box and click "Next" to continue your settings. If you don't have other special requirements for your new jpg file, you can choose "Next" all the time until "Finish".

3. Find your customized paper size in the Paper list and click "OK". Then choose your saving path and rename the new file.

The way how to change the width and length when exporting DWG to PNG is almost same as "How to Change the Width and Length When Exporting DWG to JPG".
There is only one small difference in the first step: type "PLOT" in the command line and choose the "Virtual PNG Plotter" from the name list, then click "Properties" to set/customize paper size in [Plotter Configuration Editor], choose the saved paper size, set the save path and file name.
