Hi Luky,
yes, my Av told me the same. Actually it was suspicious.
You can use your AV to scan that install files, then see what is actually reports. I don't think you will find an actual virus, just the AV algorithm detects a suspicious style.
I would just tell the AV to leave it alone and install.
Cheers Paul

Hi, Luky

We are 100% sure that the zw3dremote.exe file is safe, it is just the error warning from the antivirus software, we have done a lot of test for antivirus software before it is released, but we can't cover all of them. Could you please tell me which software you are using, I can contact them to put zw3dremote to the white list.

I think digital signature from Verisign might help to avoid these kinds of warning, I think we can sign it and then assure that it is released officially to eliminate those errors.

Best regards

It's not my first time to see the Norton conflict with ZW3D, Norton mistake the install file as virus. I always told users to add the ZW3D files to trust list in Norton.

Hi Colin,

I'm not sure a digital signature will help in this case. The problem rests, not with the ZW3D file, but, and Paul hit the nail on the head, the Anti-virus software. I have never had a problem with ZW3D firles but have with other technical software. I ended up sending copy of the file to my Anti-virus vendor, they checked the file and reported back to me it was a false positive, corrected their anti-virus algorithms and fixed the problem in the next day's update.

I recommend this approach if the Anti-virus vendor is willing to address such issues as it insures no problems after installation.
