Solution

To add a plotter for printing CAD files, taking an example with PLT format, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the [Plotter-Model] dialog box

Go to the Export in the ribbon menu or type Plot in the command line.

Step 2: Add the Plotter Type

Choose the option Add A Plotter Wizard from the name list in the Printer/Plotter box.

Step 3: Follow the Setup Prompts

Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the plotter. Select My Computer for installation and complete the configuration process.

Choose the appropriate Manufactures and Models, then click Next. (Here is an example of adding PLT plotter, so choose HP in the Manufacturers and LHPGI or SHPGI in the Models.
