DRAWING THE NETWORK

AnkiSOFT Yazılım's water transmission line design software, isaleCAD; is developped for water transmission line of infrastructure projects. It is for to draw/modelling/design/analyse the water transmission line under AutoCAD or ZWCAD.

It is possible to arrange the drawing style by using STYLE MANAGER, so you can use different drawing style in different projects.

OPEN LAYER command can open all the necessary layers that the software needs.

You can define/draw/edit/delete/move nodes, can change some/all properties of nodes. The software will write; node-number and the elevation for each node on the drawing.

You can find any node by searching the node-number, can change the location of node-number, can renumber some/all nodes from a specified number.

You can define/draw/edit/delete pipes, can change the direction of pipes, can change some/all properties of pipes.

You can define/draw/delete embedded reservoir, elevated reservoir, pump-station, hydrophore.

You can define/draw/delete air-releasing-valve/water-discharge-valve to any nodes. You can renumber them.

 

CHECKING

You can check weather there is any mistake in the network model. You can find and you can correct them.

Such as; same node-numbers, pipe connections from/to nodes.

 

HYDRAULIC CALCULATIONS

During design works; the Network-Drawing-Software will work together with the Profile-Calculation-Software.

To do this; all the informations on the drawing will be send to calculation, the calculation software will do calculations, then all the calculated informations will be send back to the drawing to show the final situation.

You can repeat this process, untill you reached to the situation that you want.

 

DESIGN CRITERION

You can define;
• Water supply point can be; pump-station, embedded-reservoir, elevated-reservoir or  pressure-decreasing-valve
• Water discharge point can be; embedded-reservoir, elevated-reservoir, pressure-decreasing-valve, network enterance node or water-discharge-valve
• Profile drawing height
• You can decide air-releasing-valve/water-discharge-valve, or software will decide them itself, or software and you can decide together
• The software will decide vertical curve fittings automaticallt
• If the pipe slope is greater than or equal to 30%, software will add backfill-supporting-wall automatically
• Curve angles can be in degree/grad
• Pressure calculations can be according to pipe bottom elevation or pipe center elevation
• The output is in DXF file-type
• For each pipe; a type-name, material (concrete, reinforced concrete, PVC, ACB, Steel, Cast iron, Ductile iron, HDPE, CTP, ...), allowable pressure, wall thickness, inner diameter, pipe discharge, design formula (William-Hazen, Ludin, ...), "C" values for the formula, outer diameter and basement layer thickness.

 

DESIGN CALCULATION TABLES

Hydraulic calculations are in the form of tables and recorded in a text file. In the first table;
• Node number
• Distance from the beginning
• Ground elevation
• Pipe elevation
• Total JL
• Total local head loss (LK)
• Total JL+LK
• Piesometric elevation
• Pressure during operation
• Maximum pressure
• Minimum pressure.

 

In the second table;
• Node number
• Air-releasing-valve/water-discharge-valve name
• Angle of horizontal curve
• Angle of vertical curve
• Angle of 3D curve.

 

PROFILE

The informations on the profile are;
• Excavation depth
• Node number
• Ground elevation
• Pipe center/bottom elevation
• Distance between nodes
• Distance from the beginning
• Pipe diameter and material type
• Slope
• Direction on the plan. All of them will be prepared automatically. 

 

SCHEMATICAL PROFILE

The informations on the profile are;
• Maxsimum pressure line
• Piesometric line
• Static line
• Minimum pressure line
• Node number
• Pipe center/bottom elevation
• Distance between nodes
• Distance from the beginning
• Pressure during operation
• Maksimum and minimum pressure during water hammer
• Static pressure
• Pipe diameter and material type. All of them will be prepared automatically.

 

INFORMATION TRANSFER

You can transfer easily all the network informations to another drawing/computer, or vice versa. 

 

GENERAL

• There is no limit to the number of nodes and pipes.
• There is no limit to the number of pipe diameters and pipe materials.
• It is possible to have more than one transmission line on the same drawing. There is no limit to the number of transmission line.
• During design works; the software can show the logical mistakes of the transmission line to the user to correct them.
• On the schematical profile; you can see the nodes having pressure less than minimum operational pressure and having pressure above the maximum static pressure.
• You can renumber all the nodes automatically.
• All calculations are in a text file, in the form of tables. You can open, you can copy, you can print directly at any time.
• You can use our software commands with AutoCAD or ZWCAD commands too.
