ZW3D modules such as Weldment, Sheet Metal, and 2D Drawing not only improved accuracy but also cut repetitive rework.

Solving a Critical Challenge with the “Lip” Feature

In AMR design, creating precise lips on complex drafted surfaces used to demand multiple steps and varied adjustments. Engineers sometimes spent hours just defining a single feature.

ZW3D simplified this process to one click. By using the Lip command, NEXT Robotics could generate mating lips across multiple parts with 0.1 mm precision. Designing the curved battery compartment, once a challenge, became effortless.

The results? A 75% reduction in operation time and a 300% boost in efficiency.
