Fix missing classic menu bars or a completely vanished top menu in ZWCAD using the MENUBAR system variable, profile resets, or CUIX reloading.
Table of Contents
The menu display problems usually fall into two main situations: either the classic menu bar is missing, or the whole top menu is gone. We will explain each one separately.
If the classic menu bar has disappeared in ZWCAD, type "MENUBAR" in the command line. When the software prompts you to enter a new value for menu bar, enter 1, and the missing classic menu will return.

1. Value "0" : Hide the menu bar.
2. Value "1" : Display the menu bar.
When the menu bar and the ribbon menu are both missing, the primary cause is often that the necessary menu file is either missing or damaged. To restore them, you can attempt two distinct methods.

Method 1 :
Input the command OPTIONS, enter the [Options] dialog box, click [Profiles]→[Reset], click OK in the pop-up box, and click OK again to confirm your settings.

Method 2 :
If the operation in Method 1 cannot solve the problem, enter the MENULOAD command, select the ZWCAD (or ZWCADM if you have one), and click Unload. Then confirm OK in the new pop-up box.

After unloading, click Browse and Open the ZWCAD.CUIX file in your computer.

When you import the file, [File Name] will automatically fulfiill the location of your file. Confirm Load and the menu bar will be back immediately. Finally, Close the [Load/Unload Customization] dialog box.

A missing menu interface in ZWCAD can quickly stall drawing navigation, but it can be easily repaired without reinstalling the program. By utilizing the MENUBAR variable for simple text-menu visibility toggles, or executing a profile reset and a custom interface reload via MENULOAD for complete interface failures, you can reliably restore your command menus and maintain an uninterrupted design workflow.
