Learn how to change the position, text, and order of block attributes in ZWCAD using the BATTMAN command to sync updates across all instances.
Table of Contents
When double-clicking a block with attributes, the Enhanced Attribute Editor opens. What should users do if they want to change the position or text of the block’s attributes?

The Enhanced Attribute Editor only edits attribute values for a single block instance and does not allow reordering or syncing attribute changes across all block instances.
1. Go to menu and click Modify → Object → Attribute → Block Attribute Manager (or type BATTMAN) to open the Block Attribute Manager. Select the block to see its list of attributes, and adjust their order using Move Up or Move Down.

2. Click Edit to modify attribute settings. After finishing, click Sync in the Block Attribute Manager to apply the changes to all instances of the block in the drawing.

When you need to modify the position, text, or order of block attributes rather than just editing individual instance values, the Enhanced Attribute Editor is insufficient. By opening the Block Attribute Manager with the BATTMAN command, you can adjust the attribute properties, reorder them, and use the Sync feature to automatically apply these structural updates to every instance of that block within your ZWCAD drawing.
