GUANGZHOU, CHINA: August 20th, 2019 – ZWSim-EM 2019, a 3D full-wave electromagnetic simulator has been officially released by ZWSOFT today. With high precision, high efficiency, low memory footprint and powerful modeling capabilities, it is committed to providing users with an industry-specific, RF-related and all-in-one simulation solution.
Playing an important role in industries like communication, biomedical and security, ZWSim-EM can be used to simulate microwave circuits and devices, such as couplers, filters, power dividers, and antennas like patch antennas, pyramid antennas, array antennas and Vivaldi antennas.
l Leading Solver
For simulation software, accuracy and efficiency are users’ main concerns. ZWSim-EM has adopted EIT (Embedded Integral Technique), which is a self-developed and leading technique based on FDTD (Finite-Different Time-Domain) as the main algorithm. Together with a series of advanced technologies like upgraded conformal technology, irregular grid processing technology, leading model discreteness, etc., a solver which brings accurate simulation results quickly has been realized.
l Easy to Use
ZWSim-EM is easy-to-use with minimum set of parameters, friendly user interface and clear workflow. You can customize the user interface according to your habits by dragging different areas. What’s more, the simulation process is consistent with the design of user interface, which means that you can set the entire simulation process from top to bottom in Navigation Tree, or from left to right in Ribbon Menu.

l Powerful 3D Modeling
Making use of ZW3D’s powerful modeling capabilities like parametric modeling, ZWSim-EM enables you to build and edit models directly in it, to improve modeling efficiency and facilitate later parameter sweep and optimization. Also, it’s compatible with over 20 mainstream CAD formats such as .sat, .stp and .igs., to help import and export different CAD files easily.

l Multiple Mesh-generation Strategies
ZWSim-EM provides different mesh-generation strategies including General Mesh and Local Mesh, to satisfy different accuracy requirements. You are able to get correct simulation results efficiently with these strategies.

l Advanced Post-processing
The post-processing of ZWSim-EM includes checking 1D results (Z and Y Smith Charts), Far-Field Results (Cartesian Coordinates, Polar Coordinates, 2D and 3D Display), and E/H Field Results. The simulation results can be shown intuitively and multi-dimensionally, making it convenient for you to conduct post-processing. You can also import, export, mathematical process and track the features of results.
