1. COMPONENTS
EPLANT-STH has a parametric 3D Component library referencing dimensional tables.
Component shapes, defined by a scrip language, and dimensions can be modified by the user.
The library is open to new shape definitions. Dimension can also be input manually during the component creation.
2. TRIDIMENSIONAL MODEL
Component generation is easy using dialog boxes. Placing commands are context driven: Components can be inserted by position, using lines as reference or snapping to connecting points of other components.
The generated sections can be moved, rotated, shortened or enlarged to the ends. The CAD commands COPY, MOVE, MIRROR can be used without any restriction.
3. THREE MODULES IN ONE
The three modules: Structures, Cable Trays and HVAC can each have an independent component library and set of standards.
4. 2D PLANS
Orthographic views can be automatically generated. Each element can be automatically annotated with the section characteristics.
EPLANT-Piping 2D Plans Generation is compatible with STH components.
5. CLASH DETECTION
Interference checking is automatic. The clash envelope used by each component can easily displayed and modified.
6. MATERIAL TAKE OFF
Material take off is automatic, as long as weight and painting area calculation.
